Wyoming County is considered the "Gateway to the Endless Mountains". Tunkhannock serves as the county seat. Keystone College also has its home in the county. Easily accessible by US Routes 6 and 11, Wyoming County also lies less than 20 miles from Interstate 81 and the PA turnpike to the east.

The county offers many natural resources, while dairy farming and the wood industry remain the prevalent features of the county. The number one resource, however, is our good people.
